Let's keep it to transferrable or to pre-samples. If you could pick up another machinegun, which one would you get?

I've always been interested in a M60. The reason is silly- my first memory of a gun that shoots more than one bullet was seeing Rambo as a little kid.

How about you?

Funny, for about 10-years I wanted a Norrell trigger pack... I never bought as a 22 that costs as much as an M-16 seemed insane but I finally bought one last year. I am SO HAPPY with that purchase that I can honestly say I am glad I bought it although it sure was a streach to purchase...

So, what machine gun do I lust for now....?

I honestly don't have one I really must have anymore...

My MGs:
SWD M11/9 (MAX-11)
Vector SMG UZI (22, 9mm, 45)
Norrell 10/22 w/ Norrell Integral Supressor
SWD LL (use in lots of lowers and in lots of calibers)

If money was no object, I guess next on my list would be a Colt M16 but I doubt I will ever own one. The four I have are likely all I will ever have.

M-60......... The Vietnam era M-60, not the newer M-60E4.

SHIT...... I wish I would have sucked up the cash when they were $3500 in the early 80s.................. :(

WOW! There's some great taste displayed here!

The M60 is a great choice for a one man portable beltfed weapon.
The BREN is a joy to shoot and one of the best weapons ever produced.
M249 and M240 are both fun and yes there are a very few transferables.
I guess my ultimate dream gun would be the Stoner 63A, but the price is just ridiculous.

I'm with CAG on this one. The Vickers is the one that I've been lusting after for a couple of years but can't bring myself to spring for. I tried to buy one at the 2006 SAR Show on Sunday afternoon. Absolutely beautiful and complete VSM side plate gun in three calibers with every accessory you can name, six locks, transit case, Colt tripod, eight barrels, etc... I offered the dealer his asking price of $22,500 and asked that he cover shipping. Understand that I had the means to transport every last piece of the package home except the actual gun, and he was unwilling to bear the cost of shipping. That's as close as I've come to owning one.

The prices are coming down and there's a beautiful fluted jacket on the market right now in 3 calibers. 7.62 x 54R is still cheap and plentiful. Maybe this year?

MP-44 and a must is an MG-42 (the original M-60)

Everything else I pretty much have owned or do own.

Once I got the Mini UZI my lust changed to an AK-47, followed by an M60E4. After that; Thompson SMG.

When I moved to AZ 7 years ago all I wanted was an M16, UZI, and an AK. To me these were the big 3.
