So I got the call from my dealer today that my form 4 came in and I could come pick up my M-11/9. So I did as fast as I could of course. Once I got it home I pulled out the Lage upper that had been waiting for it and commenced to installing it. All the while my 23 month old is at my feet shouting "pow-pow, pow-pow" wanting to hold the gun. I was almost finished sliding on the front piece when I hear a crack and a black piece of plastic falls to the counter. Since I was a little distracted I didn't realise that the pieces weren't lined up right and this is the result:

Oh well superglue to the rescue!!

Then I forgot to install the cocking knob. As I was puting it in the bolt or something slid forward and this is that result:

It looks less painful than is was plus I bled like a stuck pig and dripped some onto the gun. Furthermore, at the sight of the blood my toddler started crying because Daddy hurt himself.

So... I dressed my wound, waited until the baby was in bed and installed the grip and mag release without incident. Somethime enthusiasm is not your best friend. I also learned not to try to work on my firearms with my gun loving son around. However, I do look forward to taking him with me to the range in a few years!

I want to try that someday but I am going to be at the Hernando Sportsmans Club this Saturday for their machine gun shoot.

RBLMM- E-mail me and I will send you a new right side grip panel for free. I hate to see that on your MAX-11!

Customer service at its best!

Nice looking Max-11 you've got there. I can't wait to hear a range report.

Thanks Richard I'll do that. Since I managed to glue my fingers together for a few seconds while I was glueing the pieces.

Better yet, buy the side rails to replace those panels!
Great suggestion!

With all the problems you've had, I'd be afraid to test fire it. :roflmao

You're 'gonna love it!

I did test fire it today with the stock upper and it was flawless for 300 rounds. Funny that my gun seems to be more dangerous without the ammo in it...

If your any where near Fort Myers I would be glad to take a look at it for you. If your not near Ft Myers tell us where you are and maybe we can come up with someone that might be able to help.
