I sincerely wish them the best. I am very much wanting to order one. I've just been waiting for them start shipping, and catch up on backorders first.

I cannot wait to hear some reviews from guys who actually own an M16!

Totally different animal. Slidefire-equipped AR is probably closer to an M16 than the Fostech Echo. This setup is more for double-tap, though of course you *can* do mag dumps with it.

Starting to leave out the door early next week. Awaiting final packaging and first group will be out the door... We are trying to have everybody caught up no later than early January.

Imho since the release of the BFS GEN3, it looks a lot more promising. Might jump ship if Fostech doesn't ship by year end. A lot of good reviews coming from the new BFS gen3 with the ability to run there system with 9mm and 22 platforms!

I saw someplace else where they said the packaging was big deal as it held all of the trigger components together so that nothing gets lost during shipping. So if the vendor supplying the special little shaped plastic box or whatever is late, I can see a delay. And then they said they had hired new people specifically for the packaging and shipping job, so training them as well.

Just trying to give Fosetech the benefit of the doubt.

Let's hope so. Thank you for sharing that info.

I preordered mine 3/25/16 and still no word yet.

Does anybody know if these will work in an MPX Gen 2?

I don't think so as there using a propietory bolt carrier now. Might need to get your Mpx carrier milled to match Fostech? Imho??

Carrier modification is all that's needed to run the Fostech, as it requires a slightly radiused version of the M16 sear trip.
MPX doesn't have that sear trip, so it would require some engineering to make a substitute.
Honestly the most realistic approach would be to use the Franklin BFS, as no sear trip surface is needed.

I think that's what I'm going to do. Then put the Fostech in my 300blk lower.

I don't believe they have shipped yet, I kind have jumped ship and got the new and improved BFS3. So far it's Flawless in 9mm/22/223. Gonna do full write up by Friday. Just some more testing. "0" hammer flow thus far!!! :)))
