Let me make it clear... yes we were shipping. Saiga adapters were coming/shipping out first. A batch of Galil adapters (Gen 2) are going out tomorrow.... I have called a few members that are here on the forum to notify them in person that the adapters were shipping. If you are still on the list, it will ship, allow me time to get through it. There is a lot to clear up as I go.

But bottom line, we are shipping. For everyone who kicked me in the teeth... it's my time now. Cheers!

Yes, it is. It is your time to "do the right thing" and deliver the goods and NOTHING more. :poke

That's all fine and well but I'm still not seeing anyone here or on the Saiga forum posting that they have received anything from MSA yet. Lucky for me Gpal refunded my credit card after Nathan wouldn't reply to them either. From where I sit it looks like you had some kicks coming. Taking money and giving nothing but empty promises or ignoring your customers is not an ethical way to conduct business.

That's fine and all.... I get my inbox filled every day with emails and what not. I have for the last 3-4 weeks fought 18 hour days to get this finally going. And I wasn't stopping. Regardless of my business practices.... Shipping product was my goal and I had my own setbacks to overcome on the mill we brought up. I stated before, watch the site for updates as I was going to be in and out of communication as I was nearing the end of my task.

I've responded to a handful of emails as I was able, operative word being ABLE.... if you want to open a dispute for a charge back go ahead.... I never contested any GPal refund so I'm not sure of your Gpal comment as being truthful and accurate. Even when I was on top of everything prior to my fall I never caved to those bitching and I'm not changing that now. I rather focus on those that were still in it and believed in me.... you wanna bitch and moan by all means go ahead. In the end you bought an adapter, a MSA adapter if I read your post right.... Forgive me if I find it humorous.

When the product hits the hands and the post start flying I will be sitting back smiling at everyone who said I was going to rip off everyone. Bottom line product is being made and shipped. I will focus on taking care of those individuals waiting on product as that is my goal. If you want to troll the thread go ahead... at this point it means little to me. Now if you will forgive me I am working through the holiday weekend to fulfill my obligations so my break time is over. Cheers

You are right, I did buy an adapter from a distributor of yours, two days from order to my door. I will give you the credit you deserve, it's a great product. I hope you get those orders out and the guys who have been far more patient than I could ever hope to be get theirs. So my last words on this topic will be: Good luck to all concerned, company and customers.

Forgive me for butting in. I don't have one of these adapters nor do I plan on buying one. But from time to time I read the recent postings on this subject and I always find it appalling. This thread is almost 8 months old. I sure hope MSA gets things straightened out immediately so this thread can die. And I hope that when everything finally ships, there is no "gushy" thank you's for the people who waited months and years(?) when they do receive what they paid for or a "I am finally victorious" post from the manufacturer.........

Unsolicited advice now follows for MSA. I am not sure what MSA would say caused this or what the personal situations were. These are my opinions.

There is very little excuse possible for your lack of communication with your customers when you have time for manufacturing.

Communicate, communicate, communicate. That's business. I'm talking about individual, private responses to your customers. Your communications in public (like this forum) should only be factual updates, not defenses of your poor performance and questionable business practices.

I have for the last 3-4 weeks fought 18 hour days to get this finally going.
Great, you are behind I would not brag about it. There are many, many hardworking folks here who have all done this before. Tell your mom if you want some sympathy.

.... Shipping product was my goal
It should be your goal once you took the money.

.... Forgive me if I find it humorous.
Nothing humorous about you shipping product to a new distributor BEFORE you shipped the old orders. Terrible, terrible business practice. Worse than the poor communication thing.

Now if you will forgive me I am working through the holiday weekend to fulfill my obligations so my break time is over. Cheers
Good, go back to work, make it right and ship the orders!

Communicate with ALL the OLD orders/customers first. Ship their product FIRST. Apologize to them. Let this thread die as graceful of a death as is possible. And NEVER allow something like this happen again.

Forgive my butting in.

RM308.... Thank you for your constructive criticism. I do agree with you entirely for the most part.

Once again I do communicate when I have time, when I am not having my ass ran. If you would like to come do PR for me by all means come to Texas and check the situation and figure out a PR schedule and I'd be happy to follow. It's easy for armchair desk jockeys to put two cents in when they themselves don't have a dog in the fight. Bottom line what information I give is what I have at the time. If it changes, which it did constantly, or I get strung along then no matter what I do I'm always "fucked". Which was why we purchased our own mill to gain control over what we/I could not have otherwise done.

I HAVE NOT NOR HAVE I EVER SHIPPED ANY PRODUCT TO ANY DISTRIBUTOR OVER A CUSTOMER.
Fact check your comments before posting, this is why I have a hard time going through such posts. A percentage of email I have gotten is due to someone PMing someone some rumor they heard and I have to play fact police.... way to time consuming for my task at hand. Which is why I stated to check the website. Now back to the misinformation. If this is referenced to MAA having Galil adapters they are Gen1 that was purchased beginning last year that he/they still had. These adapters do not work in true Mil spec IMI Galils. Which if you've read any or know any of the history of what has happened then you know this was the cause for the revision and why some orders are way outstanding. And yes, those people I have been calling or emailing with my apologies.

So to you my apologies if I come across as frustrated, defensive or offensive... like everyone else I am tired of the soap opera. I wish nothing more than to have this behind me and move on to the other products I have waiting to be put into production.

Bottom line, once the company has grown a bit and I can stop wearing a bunch of different hats, my communication skills will go back to where they were prior (when I was on top of everything). This is key for any successful business I know, I was there before and it will be again. I have no plans on gloating over some triumph, so don't paint me as arrogant in that sense. Any person who knows me will tell you other. All I wish is to see my name restored, as a man that is all I have. I am and have always been committed to doing what I promised. Thanks to those who waited and my apologies to those who were/are hurt by all of this.

I'm just tickled to hear from you. Honestly...
You need to find out about putting this saga into print or selling the screen rights.
I can't wait to declare this in all the numerous forums for those doubting skeptics to see.
I knew you would come through.

Till later,

To Nathan May,

Re: Galil mag adapter, Invoice ID: 8741232159588, from Thu, 30 Apr 2009.

Just to bring you up to speed on my order history...: You sent me a Saiga adapter for my Galil, by mistake, and after requesting and receiving your permission to return it, I did so and included an extra $8.00 for the return S&H.
I'm still waiting. Could you please place my adapter in the line up of orders to process?
I'll follow this message up with an email so you know where to send it.

Hang in there Nathan, I know most of us want you to succeed and overcome these difficulties. Your products are in demand and you will come through this.

And here I sit with a Galil MSA adapter that fits and works like a charm on a GLN Serial numbered rifle. Ordered and received in 2009. Nathan, sorry about the problem or problems MSA have had. Wish you all the luck in getting back on schedule and getting these excellent adapters to folks that want and need them ! Just a pat on the shoulder for trying !

MSA Galil/AR15 mag adapter arrived today

It came via USPS today, 07.08.10.
I popped it in and both metal and composite mags loaded and fired w/o so much as a hiccup.
Thank you Nathan, the wait was more than a little disconcerting but you came thru with the goods, just as you promised.

Thank you,
reddhawk out.

Well, my last post on this issue, I stated I would not say/write anymore on this issue. Last Friday 07/02/2010 I was contacted by Nathan May, he stated he was packing my Galil adapter and was sending it out to me, the next day. You could have knocked me over with a feather. I asked him to send me an, additional adapter for a Saiga. I received both in the mail today. The craftsmanship is great, Iam going to have to have the Galil adapter fitted to my rifle. I'm not going to be gushy and say I'm sorry for having written about waiting for a year for a product that should have been forthcoming when payment was made. I will say that if Nathan had come out and communicated with most of us this thread would have never seen the light of day. I would also say that, at no time was what was said a "kick in the teeth" and he shouldn't have taken it that way. I do believe it was a swift kick in the ass and an attempt to jar Nathan back into reality. All this being said, I was glad to receive the adapter that I paid for and I will be sending Nathan payment for the additional adapter.

Lol... Ass or teeth it's all good. I'm just happy to be at a point where I can finally start putting the product back out there and actually try to steer this ship back on track. Once again, my apologies to all. Cheers

Do tell...

Some us, by necessity, have been following/participating in this thread since it began last November. My experience began many months before then and, unlike most of the others here, did not involve a failure to ship the adapter.
I know much more than I have shared. However, as it was not my desire to see MSA run out of business but only wanted a refund - I mostly pulled my punches. And yes, after long last - I did receive my money back. When Mr. May felt it was necessary for me to declare that publicly - I did so. However, considering what I had to do to get the refund, I hardly felt he deserved high praise for doing it. Believe me - I was not about to let it go until the money was in hand. That being accomplished - finally - I considered the matter closed.

But if Mr. May now wishes to engage in teeth kicking...by all means - let's party! :chainsaw

Go ahead Nate - give me your best shot. :evilgrin

Aparently you did not drop the matter or you would not have taken my post out of context. It was an open statement to all who doubted I would return and fulfill what I promised after many personal an financial setbacks. Bottom line... You can take this however you wish. I know I won't be able to please everyone all the time, and to those I can't... So be it, and at this point could care less how you feel or what you take personally. A wise man on this forum passed some good advice to me and I plan on taking it, to sum it up don't get stuck on stupid. This will be my last words to you on the matter pubically. Further comments can be sent in private should you feel like I called you out when in fact I had not.

Bottom line I'm sorry if you feel I had, I can say that had I been in the same situation as you my actions would have been no different and I do agree with your intentions to get the resolution you required. So one again my apologies to you for having to deal with me while I was trying to get my shit together. Cheers.

Mister & Mrs. America and all the ships at sea, Soldiers, Sailors, Marines and Airmen, And the US Coast Guard.....

Time to close this MSA/Adapter thing down and go to some other subjects. Apparently Nathan's feet are back solid on the ground and adapters are being made and shipped. Lets ya ya about something and somebody else...
