Forgive me for butting in. I don't have one of these adapters nor do I plan on buying one. But from time to time I read the recent postings on this subject and I always find it appalling. This thread is almost 8 months old. I sure hope MSA gets things straightened out immediately so this thread can die. And I hope that when everything finally ships, there is no "gushy" thank you's for the people who waited months and years(?) when they do receive what they paid for or a "I am finally victorious" post from the manufacturer.........
Unsolicited advice now follows for MSA. I am not sure what MSA would say caused this or what the personal situations were. These are my opinions.
There is very little excuse possible for your lack of communication with your customers when you have time for manufacturing.

Communicate, communicate, communicate. That's business. I'm talking about individual, private responses to your customers. Your communications in public (like this forum) should only be factual updates, not defenses of your poor performance and questionable business practices.
Great, you are behind I would not brag about it. There are many, many hardworking folks here who have all done this before. Tell your mom if you want some sympathy.
It should be your goal once you took the money.
Nothing humorous about you shipping product to a new distributor BEFORE you shipped the old orders. Terrible, terrible business practice. Worse than the poor communication thing.
Good, go back to work, make it right and ship the orders!
Communicate with ALL the OLD orders/customers first. Ship their product FIRST. Apologize to them. Let this thread die as graceful of a death as is possible. And NEVER allow something like this happen again.
Forgive my butting in.

RM308.... Thank you for your constructive criticism. I do agree with you entirely for the most part.
Once again I do communicate when I have time, when I am not having my ass ran. If you would like to come do PR for me by all means come to Texas and check the situation and figure out a PR schedule and I'd be happy to follow. It's easy for armchair desk jockeys to put two cents in when they themselves don't have a dog in the fight. Bottom line what information I give is what I have at the time. If it changes, which it did constantly, or I get strung along then no matter what I do I'm always "fucked". Which was why we purchased our own mill to gain control over what we/I could not have otherwise done.
I HAVE NOT NOR HAVE I EVER SHIPPED ANY PRODUCT TO ANY DISTRIBUTOR OVER A CUSTOMER.
Fact check your comments before posting, this is why I have a hard time going through such posts. A percentage of email I have gotten is due to someone PMing someone some rumor they heard and I have to play fact police.... way to time consuming for my task at hand. Which is why I stated to check the website. Now back to the misinformation. If this is referenced to MAA having Galil adapters they are Gen1 that was purchased beginning last year that he/they still had. These adapters do not work in true Mil spec IMI Galils. Which if you've read any or know any of the history of what has happened then you know this was the cause for the revision and why some orders are way outstanding. And yes, those people I have been calling or emailing with my apologies.
So to you my apologies if I come across as frustrated, defensive or offensive... like everyone else I am tired of the soap opera. I wish nothing more than to have this behind me and move on to the other products I have waiting to be put into production.
Bottom line, once the company has grown a bit and I can stop wearing a bunch of different hats, my communication skills will go back to where they were prior (when I was on top of everything). This is key for any successful business I know, I was there before and it will be again. I have no plans on gloating over some triumph, so don't paint me as arrogant in that sense. Any person who knows me will tell you other. All I wish is to see my name restored, as a man that is all I have. I am and have always been committed to doing what I promised. Thanks to those who waited and my apologies to those who were/are hurt by all of this.
