Anyone know how to get ahold of OKPUD? (Hipes Gunsmithing?) FNC gas system adjustment...

I have seen OKPUD post several times about having made custom tools for adjusting the gas system on the FNC, and that he does the adjustment. I tried reaching out to him here via PM and also via email, but have not had any response, and his last post here seems to have been in 2023.

I can't find any reference on the web to Hipes Gunsmithing, so I am at a bit of a dead end- anyone know if he is still around doing work on FNC's, or can recommend another FNC smith?

I have a customer with a 16" FNC that runs fine on semi but routinely chokes out after about 2-4 rounds on burst and full auto, even with M855 green tip. I am thinking the gas adjustment screw on the front of the gas block needs to be adjusted, but would rather refer my customer to someone who does this type of work specifically.

Any help is appreciated!

I tried to get ahold of him during my bolt project. Over the course of many, many months through PMs, phone calls, etc. I gave up.

Simply use an allen key to adjust the gasscrew. Or replace it by an other size...

Are they front mounted or side mounted?

I believe my screw was replaced by TBA during sear install. Try them. I also sent work to OKpud years back and was pleased with work.
I have an old phone# for Hipes if you PM me.
