Congrats 6050401122. (Mind if I call you 605?) I assume this is a form 3 from Vector to your dealer since you said the paperwork was going to Vector. Then you still have to wait for a form 4 but if your dealer is close by it's almost as good as really having possession. It's usually 7-14 days from approval until the paper reaches the transferor.

Muzzle -- don't feel too bad. I sent money for a group buy in May of 2002 and still haven't got mine yet. Its now pending at ATF (went pending May 9, 2003). So its been 13 months. Probably have another month at least until I get it.

Boy do I have a lot of mags, ammo and accessories.

LOL! I have gone totally ape on parts while passing time. I got the Vector drum, .22 kit, .45 kit, mags galore (countless 25's, 4 32s, a 40, 3 of the .22/28 mags, a pack of GG mags), Chris H's GG .45 conversion, the Gemtech 3 lug barrel, a 1/2x28 threaded barrel, IMI flash hider, BFA, DSA parts kit, extras on the wear parts (extractor, sear, bolts, barrels, recoil assy's), extra top cover, mag clamp, CDNN buffers, forgrips (G&G and Vector), extra handgrips, Blackhawk case, sight tool, sling, QD wood stock, mag pouches, bayo, ... did I mention extra mag loaders?

Crap, that's just the stuff I remember off the top of my head withoiut digging through the boxes:thinking

I hear ya. I just keep buying stuff for this thing. Probably not a bad idea since once I get it, ammo will be the big expense. I was going through my ammo stores last night and realized I have 6000 rounds of 9mm (4800 are Hirt +p+) and 3200 rounds of .45

Did you get a vertical foregrip? I'm thinking about a polymer stock. Why I have no idea except it would look cool. I'm sure the wood one from my parts kit is perfectly functional.

Yeah, I got the Vector vertical foregrip as well as the GG&G UFIR. Not having anything to mount it on means I can't currently comment on either one. For now, I'll just go by what I've read on the threads here.

I got the Vector IMI foregrip and bayo more for the collector value - not for practicality. The Vector forgrip is a wasted opportunity to pack some good storage into that big mo-fo. The UFIR has a small storage compartment - good for a spare battery, extractor & pin or even a thread protector if you have a threaded barrel.

I'm one of these guys that gets out to the range only to discover that I need a tool or part that's back home on the bench. Since UZIs are so popular, I think there's an opportunity to make a really nice storage kit using the QD synthetic stock and IMI style foregrip. The stock is big enough to hold a spare mag, holosight battery, form 4 copy, a sight tool, whatever. The foregrip could store those little spring and pin parts you only need now and then when something breaks. a foam sheet keeps them from rattling around.
