What size do I need to drill out a .223 AR-15 flash hider to be safe using it on my 10 inch 9mm upper on my F/A SWD M-11? I drilled it 13/32 which is .406. Will that work safely? Thanks

As long as your opening in the flash hider is alittle bigger then the opening at the end of the barrel I dont see why you would have a problem. 9mm is .356 so it should fit threw.

I drilled out a Phantom to 10.5 mm to ensure enough clearance.

Make sure you have really good drill bits. The steel is very hard.

I ran a 3/8" end mill through one and have had no problems. I used an A-2 flash hider and a peel washer to time it.

Check to make sure there is a clear path from the muzzle through the flash hider and it'll be fine.
