are galil ace begin imported

I was looking thru armlist ans I ran into this ad that has a galil ace in 7.62x51 for sale.

That would be great if they were, but more likely it's an illegal import and either the seller or who ever buys it will be getting a visit from the ATF and ICE. I would love to own one though, when they are legally available.

If you read the specs; its a post sample. You can still import firearms in; with the right license.

Still a decent price, I would imagine, if you wanted to cut her up and make a kit.

I mean, it'd be a one of a kind kit in this country (I bet). I'm pretty doubtful IWI will try to market the Galil, since the bullpup market is growing faster.
