a micro does not need a slot since it has no blocking bar, however if the bolt has feet they need to be reduced to the point they will slide under the angled sides of a micro trunion as described and pictured in the library in the conversion section (i believe micro and mini conversion info are both in the mini conversion portion) relieving the trunion for the full size feet is considered as modifying the receiver which is a no no

Irrelevant to the questions above but thanks for the insight on the feet. ✌️

Since just after 86, I have had quite a number of B&G registered bolts come and go in numerous configuration for minis and micros.. Cut down slotted full size with and without feet, mini group bolt with and without feet, mini IMI with and without feet, micro semi with welded lip. The only configuration I don't remember having is a closed bolt full size semi with welded lip but I have seen a couple. I believe with the frenzy right before May 86 B&G was registering any and everything they could get their hands on. With that said, there has been a handful over the years that I have looked at that gave me pause for one reason or another, and I passed up. Been a huge fan of the uzi since my first purchase in 85.

Point being B&G may have made Micro bolts (which would be a non-slotted bolt). The original poster did not indicate whether he meant full size only or not.

I have never seen an unslotted mini or micro bolt that I could say B&G manufactured in house but it sure wouldn't surprise me! Now they did register mini and modified micro bolts manufactured by IMI and group. In this thread, I'm using the term manufactured as being an in house made product as opposed to the form 2 manufacturer for registration.
