seeing that the tenko and upper look very natural together on the MAC-10

Very very nice.

Kinda hard to believe a 43 second vid changed my mind about wanting a 223 belt fed
.

Thank you for the kind words, but I don't see this as that significant. The Tenko 10-16 adapter should function with any upper that can be used with a M16. Something like a LM-7 that would need to be "tuned" with a specific M16 would need to be "tuned" to the Tenko.

ETA To me the greatest thing about the Tenko adapter is the basic M16 function. That was why my first machinegun was a M16. To push two pins and change caliber, barrel lengths, or just a fresh barrel, means that there is no waiting for a barrel to cool. Is a belt fed system cool? Absolutely, but I don't see very many Tenko owners buying one. But I do think that most Tenko owners will have multiple uppers.

With that video, I just got on the waiting list!!!!!!!!

I am glad to hear that. To have that functionality, the market value is almost double for a Registered Receiver M16. Is the Tenko going to replace a M16? Absolutely not, but it will be an alternative for those that want full auto M16 functionality, but don't have $18,000-$20,000 for a M16 RR.

i see it as sand in ATF's eyes after the Ernie Wrenn fiasco with his RPD and M60 uppers.

It is my understanding that the M249 "upper" in 5.56X45 used a rewelded Post Sample machinegun receiver as the "upper". Had he used something other than a Post Sample machinegun receiver maybe things would have worked out differently. BTW a M60 is a 7.62X51 belt fed machinegun.

I'll be looking for a 223 belt fed upper for the tenko after I have the tenko in my hands.

I'm only going to have one MG I've had a few through out the years but the MAC-10 is/was the one I have always kept.
Mainly because I have a .22 45 & 9mm upper for it.

So I'm pretty sure I'll end up with a belt fed upper.
More so since I already have a 14.5 .223/556 upper and a 8.5 300 BLKOUT upper
along with 8 other AR uppers

So about the only two uppers worth me buying would be the 9mm belt fed and the 223 beltfed.

As good looking that package is as a whole it changed my mind about the belt fed aspect.
Nothing looks goofy or smashed together.

Kinda looks like a SAW with the extra bit of bulk.

For those interested in pictures of the Tenko installed on the M10 with the Shrike upper.

I wish there was some way to change or adapt that space with a better line from back of the upper to the rear sight. That area being rounded aatetcially is hard for me. Maybe some kind angled cut?

What is the weight of the adapter?
