I researched giving it to other auction companies but decided GB had the highest reach and by far the lowest fees. This gun is SO nice. Here is the story: It was picked up on the battlefield in 1945 and carried back. It was giving to the GI's 8 year old nephew. The nephew registered it during the '68 amnesty. I purchased it from the nephew. It is unmolested. Matching numbers. Beautiful patina. I REALLY hate to let it go but I don't shoot anymore. So, off it will go to someone that hopefully will appreciate the history as well as the condition and that great shooter it is!

I was contacted again by John Keene. I may go with his company. Right now I am swamped trying to get my brokerage opened, learn new property management software, and get clients. I want to move these guns but I am not inclined to do it within the next 3-4 weeks. Too many other items that MUST be done immediately. BTW--this is ONE NICE gun. Amnesty registered. Picked up on the battlefield in '45, given to nephew, nephew amnestied the gun, I bought it from nephew. All original. All matching.

You could always sell it to one of your friends here. :) The only auction in GunBroker's history is for a 38/44 (whatever that means) which was put up for $20k and didn't sell. It's odd that it has left side ejection.
