I'm kinda fond fo my SWR Trident 9. It is kinda gassy tho....

Had a little trouble with the 3-lug... Max 11 barrel threads are too long for the inside thread of the 3 lug adapter, such that when you tighten it down, it causes the 3-lug to cant slightly.

Not enuf to cause a baffle strike, but enuf to cause POI to shift some 5" at 25 yards. SWR is modding a 3-lug to work for me.

But with subsonic, its a darn quiet can. Hollywood quiet. But like I say, being a smaller volume can, yer gonna get gassed when doing mag dumps.

SWR is milling out a 3-lug to be long enuf for teh Max-11 thread, so the base of the three lug will seat on the barrel block of the Lage upper. Should be straight then.

Richard has 3 lug barrels already made up, just remove the original one and screw on the complete 3 lug barrel.

My Lage M-11 has a Tros 3 lug. Both my 9mm "Cans" mount fine. On a previous post I think the "Blowback issue" was addressed. Bottom line (with all due respect to Richard) you get alot of gas in your face compared to some other SMG. If I do a mag dump I need to let things air out afterwards or the next mag is going to really suck unless I have goggles on. If you want a "Can" for the Max-11 I would recommend a high volume model like a Gemtech Mk-9K.

I plan on getting a MK9K or, a SCRC M25 for my Max-11. As soon as I get the money for one. lol I like the short fat cans. garandman's Trident 9 is a good choice.

I use a Striker from AAC with a 3 lug from TROS on the MAX-11/9

Being a LH shooter I get a face full of gas on bursts and full mag dumps.

One of fellow MAX shooters made me a rail mounted ejection port gas buffer and it works like a charm. If any of you want a picture of the gas deflector let me know.

My main things in getting the Trident 9 was first low weight, narrow profile and short length, and second sound suppression.

Higher volume cans may capture more gas, but the Trident 9 fit my wants / needs and suppresses sound just fine even on mag dumps.

I just dump the mag, and then step to the left, away from the ammonia gas cloud. :jester
