I have to disagree with you. Sten mags have one thing going for them. They are cheap. Other than that, they are a pain in the rear. They are difficult to load. Often you have to try out several in order to get a handful that will work. They can be a pain to tune for reliable feeding. You have to chop your gun up and install a new grip. The zytel mags work every time for me. Install metal feedlips and they don't wear out. They can be loaded by hand without killing your thumb.
If you don't like those, get some metal mags from Recon Ord or CDNN. They work out great as well.
