Hi all, looking to add a dot to my model B carbine so it can be aimed as fast as on if my ARs. I am leaning to the 3.5 MOA Delta Point. What is the best top cover mount to use with one of these that allows co-witnessing.

I am interested in the delta point mainly cause My brother in law has one on a ps90 and it seems like a hell for stout unit.

I strongly recommend you go with the 7.5 MOA dot. The original Dr. Optic came in 3.5 and 7 MOA and the 7 MOA is much better in my opinion. Much easier to see in outdoor conditions. The 3.5 is great for indoor pistol shooters who are in lower light and need much finer accuracy in their sights.

After doing some research it looks like the RTG mount may work for the DeltaPoint, it is similar to the BURRIS.

+1 on this. Though I usually like a smaller dot, the larger dots are far quicker to pick up under pressure & as long as they aren't so large that they obscure your target, they are the way to go.

Another factor is that when mounted on an Uzi, the sight is MUCH closer to your eye than in most firearms - which tends to make the dot smaller as well. If you currently have a dot sight, try it yourself...pick a target & move the sight closer/further away from your eye & you will see what I'm talking about.

The Burris Fastfire III is offered in 3 MOA or 8 MOA while Fastfire II is 4 MOA. I have not handled anu of these. Would 8 MOA be too big for shooting steel with an UZI (some of those targets at Knob Creek are not that big)? Thanks for helping me, hopefully, not buying multiple optics until I find the right one - just too many options.........
