Bought my first full auto Uzi last night!

I've been searching for years for a Mini Uzi and out of frustration, I bought an M10 in 2011. After several dead-ends, I finally bought a registered receiver full size Uzi. Seeing as how I'm still waiting on several SBR stamps from February 2013, it's going to be a LONG wait. At least it is on a Form 3. My dealer is telling me his last few F3 transfers were right at 30 days, so at least it'll be at my dealer soon.

It's full SMG specs too, so I'm happy about that.

I have an assortment of Uzi mags that I use in my SBR Uzi. I guess I'll be on the lookout for a .22 conversion kit and a wooden stock.

Congratulations! 2015 may be daunting but if you never start- you never get a stamp. You will have a lot of fun with it.

I had a chance to buy a mini - Uzi in 2009 for $6500. I still kick myself for not dipping into the 401K for it. I handled it several times and finally said no. I had bought a nice Swedish K that I don't regret and was cash poor at the time.

I almost bought a Mini on GB. It still has 8 days left. It just shot up to $10,025 this afternoon, but sat at ~$8,000 for a while. It has a BIN for $14,000 and the seller states that it is a registered sear gun, but I haven't gotten any more answers to the questions I asked about the gun, so I gave up and bought a full size from someone else.

I remember when I bought mine,took about a month and a half to transfer-hell yea! The night I brought her home was like a scene right out of A Christmas Story. Went to sleep holding my baby,woke up next morning laying on it. Congrats on the new toy!

I went a similar route - found a very good condition, very low round count Vector Mini full auto and bought it (probably paid too much but just gave up on waiting). It finally arrives at my dealer after - get this - 90 days to get the form 3 transfer done (problem with the mail, problem with the serial number on the paperwork, problem with the shutdown, shall I go on)...

So now my wait starts but at least I can visit her and shoot it while it languishes in NFA jail at my dealer. It's gotten humorous - feel like I should have my own safe at this dealer - 3 suppressors underway, M16 and now the UZI. It's like half my guns are sitting there ;-(. The very good news is that I shot it for the first time on Tuesday (day it finally arrived) and it was a BLAST. Probably over 1000 rounds a minute which I thought would be a handful. Took me 2-3 clips but was putting most everything in the 8" ring at 15 yards with 6-10 round bursts. LOVE THIS GUN!! Op, know you'll love your full size as well. Just REALLY wanted the mini so I just paid the bucks and got the thing. Enjoy!

Well, when I first started the Mini search, they were running ~$8,000.00 for a RR. I kept trying to find one for under $7K. The more I looked, the more the rest of them rose sharply in price. By the time I realized what was happening, the price of a RR full size Uzi had exceeded $7K and the became very scarce, so I opted for the MAC10. Seeing the prices of the full sizes now at $12K+, I think I did very good. I wish I would have pulled my head out of my butt back when I kept looking for the ultimate deal. Oh well, at least I'll have one on the way soon.
