Broken part identification

Good evening gents,

I had the fullsize UZI at a shoot earlier today, and one of the shooters finished a mag and brought the gun back with the ratchet handle loose. That's happened a few times before so I was going to tighten up the screw. I took off the topcover to check the assembly, and while it looked OK I found this loose part lying on top of the front trunion. I can't tell where it came from, I checked the extractor and the ejector and they appear to be intact. Can anyone identify this?

Ratchet in ratcheting top cover. Impossible to see at size, but this:

I don't actually know that this part is broken per se, looks exactly like what I pull out of FA top covers when "converting" (and I use that term loosely) them to SA. Can't tell you how to re-install tho. Top covers are cheap, may want to look to picking up a couple and you can probably deduce re-assembly from a new one.
