Burris Fastfire Mount

I am starting to make Burris Fastfire mounts for the Uzi top covers and tried laying one on my MP5. I can make mounts to fit the MP5 that will co-witness with the factory sights. They will be weld on mounts that should sell for $75 for the mount. I was interested to see if anyone would be interested in them. Please let me know.

I would be interested in a mount that would allow a Docter or Burris FF to be low enough to co-witness, but it would have to be bolt on. I don't think anyone would want to weld on their HK receiver.

Will this use the HK clamp on scope mount or are we talking it fitting on a picatinny rail set up like some of the PTR's have?
Any pic's of what type of mount you are talking about?

The base welds on to the top of the receiver and the Fastfire screws to the top of the base. I will try to get some pictures of it next week. I have to weld it on my MP5 and refinish it.

Sounds interesting for a clone receiver, however, just playing devils advocate, what would the advantage be over a welded on rail .. .Lower, cleaner w/o optics, ?

With this mount the FastFire will co-witness with the factory sights. With a picatiny rail the FastFire will sit to high and block the factory sights.
