It looks like if you can tig or mig and have a semi bolt you can have a shooter in less then an hour.

It's not properly demilled, therefore it is a firearm (not just parts kit as he claims), and must go through an FFL or FTF within the state.

Worse yet is that because it is in that configuration and not properly demilled, it is officially an unregistered SBR.

Trouble.

Yep got to have at least 1/4" of metal removed. Which is why they say to use a torch since it usually does the job in one pass.

to me.. looks like someone built an SMG just to play with then tossed a blocking bar into it and cut it with a band saw. :confused

There's no way to make that into a legal gun?

Sure there is a way to make it into a legal gun:.

1. Demill it correctly, then either
a. Reweld it or
b. Replace the receiver with a semi.
2. Convert the FA trigger pack to semi, and either
3. Make it into a pistol or somehow neuter the stock mounting hardware (ditch the stocks).

As it sits right now, it's improperly demilled, which equals it is NOT demilled, which means it is still a firearm, not parts. Add to that there's pictures with the stock attached and a short barrel so as it is pictured it's an illegal SBR, if not an SMG (constructive intent).

3 torch cuts displacing 1/4" ea demills the firearm and renders it legally to be parts.

Those are import requirements for demilling of NFA weapons. With a blocking bar, thats a semi receiver...and a single saw cut will do. I'd worry about constructive posession with that collection of parts though
