CENTURY/ORF GALIL'

I want a galil to keep my uzi company. I don't want to spend thousands on an IMI. Does anyone have first hand experience with the Century/orf guns. If so would you recomend them?

For $699 ,you can't beat 'em.Thats the deal of the year(you can't even build one for $699) OK ,I'm rambling.The Century Galil/Goloni builds had a few issues when they were first released,but anyone w/ a problem build shipped it back and it was quickly taken care of.As far as I know now,there are no issues w/ the Century builds.

Saw a trade in yesterday in my local gun store. The guy wanted/got $800 for a Century Goloni from range owner. I laughed quietly.

I've purchased from AIM, AMCHAR and J&G, all were Century builds, all (4) were recalled and had to be sent to Century to be retrofitted. None of them worked 100% out of the box. I'm still waiting for 3 to come back from Century, the one that has already come back works 100%, but it had to be sent back twice.

Is the bottom of your Galil receiver stamped with the letter "F" or "X"?

If it is not then you have a gun subject to recall.

My Century Galil has worked perfectly since new, & is subject to the recall. I will not send it back to Century to give them a 2nd chance to screw up my gun. By the way, mine says Century Galil, not Golani. GARY N4KVE

My Golani's serial # is higher than the recall serial numbers and runs 100%
It does not have a "F" or "X" and is not subject to the earlier recall.
Great gun, I would buy another!

I think I bought one of the last ones from AIM ($699). Looks and shoots great, no problems. Glad I ordered it when I did. Like it allot!
