Nice work Vegas- I though I was done.. then I trimmed 4 more coils today. While I would not normally, I have been running it dry.. I figure if I start to hit a wall I'll lubricate it and maybe get a little "push" back. Going to test it tomorrow- had welding done on my receiver today to tighten it up- needed to take the file to my uppers to get the pin to fit/sit. Instead of having some annoying play, they sit tight and feel rock solid. Anyone who wants the 380.. I can tell you it works great, at least in an M-11/9 upper. I took my CF-W bolt assembly with the trimmed spring (before I cut it today) put it in a stock upper with a 380 barrel on it and put some 380 through it. not as slow as in my Max-31 SK but very controllable.

@TheColtCollector: Yep, unsuppressed. The video I posted is the mag we ran right after the timed run.

Mr. Greg,

Thanks for posting that video! That grip looks great for the stock upper. What is it and where can I get one? I can't stand the stock strap thing.

That's a custom made CF grip and is not available for purchase. I absolutely love it and I'm hoping to have something very similar available for purchase at some point by year's end.

Okay cool,

I'm sure a lot of people would be interested in a grip that attaches with the front pin versus using the barrel collar thing.

I'm in for one whenever they are ready for sale.

Yes, it uses the Lage Mfg extended push-pin. And it's angled. And still in prototype mode.

I would buy that! Attaching and unscrewing the rail when swapping uppers is a pain.

medphys, That is just what I'm looking for! It's basically just a shorter version of Lage's K grip for the Max-11. Do you have a mockup yet? I'm curious to see if your hands would be too close together with the lack of space between the pin and the trigger guard.

I designed it with room between the trigger guard & grip.

Let's not take this thread off topic anymore- I'll start another thread in a bit with more details.

I'm open to suggestions fo options on shipping and storing the bolts. They deserve a nice home.

Here's what I just did... bought adjustable length 1" square tube sleeves from McMaster Carr, part number 2108T59 (towards bottom on that page). Adjustable from 7-7/8" to 13-3/4". Works on my M11/9, M11A1 and MAX-31 bolts!. And get this -- they're only $1.59 each :)

Wouldn't be robust enough by themselves for shipping, but they work great for on the shelf, in the safe, or in the range bag.

Great sleeves. Lone Wolf now ships their custom barrels in smaller versions of these. I like how they lock together sufficiently to retain the part, yet can be pulled apart easily.

^ Thank you sir! I know you have choices of where you spend your hard earned money. I appreciate your business!

Good speaking with you, and I know you'll enjoy owning and shooting your CF-W bolt.
