Please excuse the rookie question... does this bolt work in a Lage MAX-10/31 upper? IF so, how would function/run, speed wise etc.? Thanks!

No. Thats a fat Mac. This is a skinny Mac bolt.

Hi All, we have 75 bolts in house and we are working on assembling them. I'll be sending out invoices beginning tomorrow. The fabricator was a few weeks behind schedule and, as always, we've been covered up with work. Please be patient with us as we work through the wait list.

I got one from this batch and it is perfect. Now is the time to get one because once they are gone they may never come back. Sure it is expensive but two years from now when they are $1500 used, you will regret it.

Let's just get this out there. If you have a M11, M11/9, or an M11A1 you should get one of these.

When you order an A bolt from Practical Solutions, tell them which platform you intend to use it in and they will assemble and ship the correct configuration. The difference is in the recoil and ejector rod length and the recoil spring type/length.
They currently have a few A bolts in stock.

M-11/9 in 9mm
M-11 small magwell in .380
M11-A1 in 9mm.

What do you do if you have all three?

I’m thinking M11 small magwell in .380 because all of my others are 9mm...

You can buy additional springs, guide rod, and ejector rods for all three configurations. Then switch the confirmation to the to the model and caliber you wish to shoot. I might also consider buying the recoil spring changing tool to help with changing the configuration.

These bolts will run in a M11/9 but there are a few issues with the spring not having enough room too fully compress inside the bolt. They are not going to mention this. It is the best available option for slow fire in original configuration. If it were slightly longer it would be perfect for the M11/9 but maybe not for the little .380s.

I’m happy to talk about almost anything, and spring compression is certainly not something I’ve ever shied away from or hidden. What issues are you speaking of? Yours is the first complaint I’ve heard. It’s the same spring I used in the full size W bolts without any coil reduction. If the end-user wishes, coils can be clipped and the 700 rounds per minute rate of fire can be reduced to below 600 while still maintaining 100% function.
The A bolt was originally developed for the M-11, and M11-A1, but I discovered it is much smoother in the M-11/nine. It’s without question, hands-down, my favorite W bolt to run in the M-11/9 platform. In my view it is superior to the full size bolt and that is the sole reason I discontinued that product.

Still, there’s some appetite for the full size bolt, and yesterday I discussed making a limited production run with Practical Solutions providing there’s enough demand. This would be a M-11/9 bolt with a fixed firing pin.
