Neat, thanks for sharing.
Reminds me how each trip to the Imperial War Museum in London in over the last 20 years, they seem to have less and less interesting firearms displayed than the last trip.... I was there in July and this specimen was definitely NOT on display - probably hidden away in some offsite vault so (shudder with horror) the children don’t see too many guns at a war museum!
I can’t quite put my finger on it but the IWM London museum now feels less about displaying large numbers cool artifacts with historical descriptions and more about spoon feeding to the politcally correct urban masses how they should think about and interpret the history without offending anyone.
Overall, a much smaller collection of artifacts that no longer includes as large number of small arms is on display. On now, you can catch PC friendly special exhibits like “Culture Under Attack” or “Art in Exile” or perhaps “Rebel Sounds (music)” these are all running now and taking up valuable small arms display space

.
Not to totally dump on IWM, The aircraft museum up in Duxford is worth the train ride and cool especially if you dig Spitfires and Hurricanes!
