Coming soon Titanium Uzi 9mm Sub-Machine Gun bolts. This will be a limited production bolt in 9mm only. After extensive beta testing the bolts timed in at
950-1000 rpm no buffer
1450-1500 rpm with buffer.

Cost still has to be determined. I can tell you now it will exceed $500.00 per bolt. The gun is empty before the brass hits the ground it is fun and still you can control it. I will get some videos and pictures of bolts soon I am doing a group demo tomorrow with the bolts.

Later

Here are a couple of pictures and a video the bolt clocked in at its fastest 1599 rpm. I was shooting at 25m and hitting an area the size of a large grapefruit it is spot on and fast

Controllability of a full-size UZI with the speed of a micro? That sounds like fun!

OK ... So I bought a Lage kit to slow my M11/9 down to the speed of an uzi. Now I can speed my uzi up to the speed of a M11/9!

How is this any different than putting a $5 buffer in the gun? I can get mine running pretty fast witha 1.4" buffer.

I was waiting for someone to come along and say that. :abused

Couldn't you drill/mill out a factory bolt and get the same effect?

You will never get the steel bolt as to weigh as the titanium without destroying its integrity you can make it lighter but it wont run this fast. I am also running a buffer to achieve the over 1500 cyclic rate. I am about 40% less in weight than the steel bolt. One other thing an M11/9 is not an Uzi. I feel the Uzi handles far better in my opinion and worth increasing the rate of fire with something that is stronger and more wear resistant than the factory bolt. Its all a matter of preference. Thanks to those that have contacted me you will be notified when we start production.

the standard bolt is like "Scrapper" Blackwell jamming on stage, then Miles Davis joins in and the music turns to titanium...kind of like old plus new equals better

Remember the Red Jacket Uzi? Will milled the bolt and still had to add a buffer just to get it to around 900RPM. I would think that a very light bolt using the full stroke would be a lot smoother than one slamming into a buffer each stroke. I'm just guessing though as a don't own one :(

I dunno, that Lage upper really makes a M11/9 into a decent gun. I agree that it still ain't an uzi, but its a long way from the turd it is out of the box.

I have a titanium bicycle and a titanium wedding ring. It is very light, tough, and hard to work with metal. Still, I don't see the $495+ advantage over a buffer and a standard bolt. You've got to be kidding me if you're claiming that a standard uzi bolt can't take a beating. Those things are nearly indestructable.

The advantage over the stock parts is its "Faster" that is what we are looking for. The stock bolt wont be structurally sound if you make it into Swiss Cheese. Trust me I have looked at all avenues with this project. If you have any facts to back up what you have stated please post them I am always listening. By the way BWE Firearms will be a retailer for 22 conversions and titanium bolts in the near future.

Have a good 4th tomorrow everyone

Joe
