Well I competed another rendition of the m11/nine today. I've been very happy with my max-11k and have zero complaints but I've been intrigued by the cfw bolt to make the package a bit smaller. I've also been looking into the In Lead We Trust 3-lug barrels. Let me tell you I'm ecstatic over the completed project. It is such a small package and I haven't shot it yet but if any of the other reports are true, this should be one of the best subguns around for size, weight, reliability and rate of fire. As it sits, I have a Burris fastfire, practical solutions uzi stock and flip grip, cfw bolt and ILWT 3 lug. The other great thing about the barrel is I can run it with my 22 kit and suppressor now. What do you think?

Wow that's really something that an 11k is lighter even with a longer barrel. That's a fine looking upper of your own too. What is that doohickie that serves as a vfg?

It was defiantly a surprise when the smaller upper weighed more with the tungsten bolt. The VFG is from practical solutions. It is called his "flip grip". It folds around the trigger and then down to be used. Very solid little grip.

The aluminum trunnion of the MAX-11/k Mk2 really helps reduce the weight when compared to the big chunk of steel used in "conventional" uppers.

You'll enjoy shooting the CF-W equipped M-11/9. The package is so small and so slow, it adds another fun dimension. Everyone today wants a side cocker, but top cockers are wonderfully ambidextrous. There's room up too for a small piece of rail to accommodate a small optic just as you've done. Congrats! You now own the smallest, modern, 9mm subgun with the lowest ROF available anywhere in the world.

With an Alamo W-MAX Mk2 adapter, you'll be able to run the W bolt in your Lage MAX-11k upper.

Looks great Capt.

I bet if you added the Lage K stock to the OEM/CF-W upper it would come in at the lightest. I'm jelly. :)

Thanks. I guess I could add my k stock, but with the oem style upper I just love the look of the metal uzi stock. Maybe I'll try a few other configurations to see if I can cut a few Ozs. I actually don't mind the weight. It's only 6.5lb with the omega9k attached. That's basically where the mp5k is minus can.

The more I see the Lage grip on a stock-style gun the more I want to get one for mine.

Your serial number is close to mine. Our guns are cousins.

Like I said before, the CF-W bolt transforms the M11/9 into the best Subgun out there. Everyone who owns an M11/9 should get a CF-W bolt no matter how the rest of the gun is configured.

Who mounted the Burris FF? How was it done (welded)? Cost?

I wish I still saw the member who did it for me on the site. He was a great guy. I want to say he only charged me for the Burris plate and not even to weld it on. Good dude for sure an a great way to add a light weight optic to the oem topcover. I took it out this past weekend and my little girl shot it with the lage 22 kit and my mask can and it was awesome! The ILWT barrel is amazing!

That is awesome!

I'd love to turn my M-11/9 into exactly that.

You need the CoffeeFreak fore grip (standard grey ghost) for your package, way better and just as low profile as your flip grip. Ask Sam at practical solutions if he will sell you one plus mounting screws

^ Unfortunately the GG upper is only sold as a complete assembly. There is no stand alone fore-grip being sold at this time.

If there’s money to made and enough demand anything can happen. Shit I have multiple GGs and I want an extra foregrip now to make that upper, it looks cool and low profile. Captshiess - if you remember who attached your red dot....let me know!

I found the IMs with user negpos. I hope he’s okay with me posting his name. He was the one that did the work for me. Great guy!! I like the grey ghost foregrip but the flip grip is cool too. Nice and compact and flips out of the way.

M11 looks like HK black. Was it refinished? If so do you have any details?

I really like the looks of it.

It’s a little bulky, but It fits in the hand pretty well. The flared portion cracked and broke on mine making it useless due to the sharp edges.
