Convert MAC10/9 frame to MAC10/45

What has to be done to convert a MAC10/9 to a MAC10/45 besides replacing the magwell and buying a 45 upper?

How about a magazine and some 45acp ammo to feed it ?


Then you need a magwell filler to take up space to position the 9mm mags in correct location when you swap the 9mm upper back.

Why convert to 45 when 9mm is cheaper to shoot.....?

Can do 40 S&W, 357 SIG, 10mm, and a few other based off the .423 & .473 case head diameter 1.270" max OAL. :heavy

You wont need to change the feed ramp as someone suggested. I have converted many of them and one of the guns i shoot regularly is a Mac-10 9mm converted to a .45 acp as it is registered in both. Change the mag well and the compete upper and you should be ready to go. One problem with leaving it as a Mac-10 9mm is that the good mags are really tough to find versus converting Grease gun mags to work as a .45 acp. If you haven't done it before, cutting the welds on the mag well and welding on the new one can be a mess, damage your gun and cause feeding problems if it is not done correctly.
