I wanted to show these off I think they came out very well. Let me start by saying I didn't really do much more than purchase the stock mags, my Dad did all the fabrication work. The one I think is really cool is the 3 mag configuration which I know has been done before, but I think this one came out really nice. The large mag should get around 85 to 90 give or take depending on the amount of desired spring tension I settle on. The mags still need to be coated but I thought I'd just throw them out there to show off some of the good work Dad did.

Kudos to your Dad for helping, and he did a nice job too.

Do yourself a big favor and appreciate him while you can.

I really like the idea of high cap mags.

Fill 'em up at my leisure, then shoot them up all day long.

Let us know how they work out for ya. Maybe post a video, OK?

You and your Dad are very fortunate to be sharing things like this... keep it up! :thumbs_up

I'll try to get some videos posted later. The springs are joined together using a sleeve machined to the spring diameter.

Goat, I don't think the infamous Barrow triple mag has ever surfaced. Some even doubt it existed. Personally, given Clyde's connections with gunsmiths, I tend to believe it. Those BAR cutdowns weren't done with a hacksaw and cobbled together. They were NICE!

As an aside, I've stayed a few times overnight in the Joplin hideout. Pretty cool to take a bath in the same tub that Bonnie & Clyde used. LOL

Here's a page in case you haven't seen it of some of Clyde's guns.

Loved the '30's gangsters since I was a kid.

Nice work Jsitz. You can also use it for a club. It should weigh a couple of pounds when loaded.

Great link Jack. I'd read about B & C and how they got their guns by robbing National Guard armorys. Early example of how the bad guys were better armed than the cops. A scenario that has been repeated too many times.

Don't you know that short barrelled BAR was an ear buster! Ole Clyde was probably deaf.

Sorry, but it worked for me.
Some people have no historical acuity.

As soon as I get the mags back from my Dad I'll get some reviews and videos posted. We don't live in the same city so I don't have them yet.

Sorry for the delay guys, I have had some personal issues and have not done any shooting. In the next couple of weeks I hope to have some info for yall on how everything performed. Just FYI the double stack ones have worked fine in the past for us, but the three is something new so I don't know what to expect out of it yet.
