Just wondering from all the subgun owners, how many rounds do you normally go through each year? I just purchased my first subgun and have a few months to go before i take ownership of it. I plan on reloading for it. Please let me know which 1 subgun you shoot the most and about how many rounds you go through in 1 year.

Thanks!

I go threw between 500-1000 rounds a month on average threw my full size Uzi. I go threw an additional 500-1500 rounds a month shooting customer SMGs I have rebuilt.

It's not a subgun , but I put 20k through my Glock 17 last year. My reloads work real well in my IMI Uzi model B. They are really light, it shoots like a .22 :) . 115 grain Montana golds with 4.5 grains of Vihta Vuori n340. I have some 124 gr heads and was thinking about loading them up hot just for the UZI. I use a Dillon 650. What loading machine are you going to use?

As of right now i have 3 lee presses. 2 of them are loadmasters and the last one is just the lee 4 hole turret press. I know they arent the best or most expensive presses out there but they seem to work fine for all my other reloading. I also cast my lead bullets to save some money

Isn't that a little like your wife asking you "So, how many drinks did you have last night?"

I think it varies. For us up here on the frozen plains it probably depends on weather. I had the flu nearly all month and so only got in a little test firing-maybe 30 rounds or so. We did have some nice days and normally I might have shot up another 300-400 rounds of 9mm.

Depends on what gun you're working on at the moment too. if I shoot the Sterling then I easily go through 200-400 rounds as it is nice and reliable. The 9mm AR means maybe 25-50 as it is a "work in progress" and has more malfunctions. Make a guess at what you'll need and load twice as much!

I shoot around 15K of 22LR a year, probably 3-4K of 223/556 rounds/year, 5-6K of 9mm/year, 2-3K/300 Blackout and a few more rounds of miscellanous, 17hmr and shotgun, that figures about 2500/month or 600ish/week, shot about 550rds today. The 22LR may be a lot less, if the supply doesn't loosen up.

Not nearly enough. I barely find time to shoot anymore. I only make maybe 6 range trips a year, and probably shoot 500 rounds per trip.

my yearly averages are between 90,000 to 120,000 rounds per year.. depending on supply. *quote from my Chief of Police "Jesus Fucking Christ, Jon. You Shoot more in a year than i have my entire life"
