Is the Death Card still being made? I broke mine and practical solutions is sold out of their adapter. I tried the search feature and google and neither one returns anything about the Death Card. Thanks in advance

The death card is an adapter that works somewhat like a funnel to help insert the mag, especially on Mag changes in gun competitions. It's for the 31S magazine, the adapter that Practical Solutions sells is so that you can use the 31 mag and not the 31S Mag. somebody else created the adapter to run the 31 mag when the 31S mags were not being made, but they decided not to put theirs out there because Practical Solutions was doing it as a for-profit business. It's my understanding that people think that they are Rambo and abuse the adapters, and then they want their money back because they tore it up acting like a gorilla, so they quit making them

I may mean z mags and zs mags I didn't take time to go make sure that I'm calling them the right name.

PS started reinforcing the sides of the adapters with metal plate inserts. My understanding is that people were using the magazines as a hand hold causing the adapter to fail. A new member, gunsplanes... was asking about the adapter a few months ago and they made another small run. I bought one when they were listed in stock. I guess that run has run it's course. This adapter is different than the death card adapter that this post is about. I am not familiar with PS making an adapter just for making the correct max31 mag easier to insert.

I think you're taking about the zmag adapter.

Well that's pretty neat. Can you show us a photo with the mag and adaptor in a gun? I'd like to see the stack up.

I can in a few weeks when I get my31 back. It’s identical to Sams version. No slack up.its perfect. Look at Sam’s and imagine it being metal, until I get my upper

Yeap that was me. The new adapters, at least IMO are built so damn tough. If someone is going to mangle one of the Practical adapters then they just don't care for stuff.

I should have got 3 of them just because they're always in demand.

original Strobro adapter
Does that adapter have any wobble when seated, do the adapter easily insert into the mag well?

The Practical (ver 2.0) adapter is a really tight fit and looks like its part of the upper, I think Practical made the lines and contours match. I'd much rather have the adapter fit tight then loose.

I really dig those iron sights you have, I need something.....I'd like to go red dot optic first then get irons but we'll see.

To the OP, I am sorry that I derailed this post. This was about a DEATH CARD adapter. It has nothing to do with this other adapter that's being discussed. Please forgive me. The death card adapter is for the sole purpose of making it easier to insert the correct mag for the Lage 31 upper.

It wobbles a bit but works great and easily inserts into the magwell.

The sights are from Lage.
