Do Registered Conversion Kits Exists for the Mini-14?

Do registered conversion kits exists for the Mini-14? A few years ago I was offered a transferable Mini-14 that the owner told me was a registered kit in a 186 series host. Now I can’t find where such a thing existed. I think this one was made by pearl, but all the pearl gun I’ve seen since then have been RR. So, do they exists, and are there any images of them out there?

I’ve only seen receiver conversions and I have one of those.

Its possible someone registered one. Who really knows, the NFA registry is NOT accurate.

Yes, at least one example of a Mini-14 conversion kit exists.

I ran across one on the Subguns board in 2015/2016. IIRC, it was being sold for $25k and the guy who runs E&L Manufacturing was the seller. It supposedly could be used on either a Mini-14 or an M1A.

I think it was basically a big assed trip lever and selector switch. It also required a modified stock.
