Doctor optics 2nd vs 3rd gen

Does anyone know the difference between the two and is it worth paying extra for the 3rd gen?

I have/had 1,2,3 and maybe "4th" gen.
I would say that the 1st Gen is the one to stay away from. The others are supposed to be brighter but I honestly don't see a difference.
It is hard to describe in words the physical differences.
When I see you at the next match, I can go over some of the differences.
The first gen's started w/ the letter A prefix then 2nd's were B, then C but after that I don't know if the D's are really a 4th gen and what differences they are if any between the C and D's.
