Duracoat match

I am looking to match a IMI model B with a Duracoat kit like this - https://www.duracoatfirearmfinishes.com/products/duracoat-standard-colors-blacks?variant=38808658953 (the rattle can version) . Need to match the top cover and the grip frame to the main body of a original IMI Model B. Does anyone have any idea which black is the closest match to a original IMI gun? Looks like they have 12 black colors... from what I have seen maybe matte black or the gloss black. Thank you very much as always for your help!!!

It’s a dark black, satin finish. Check with BWE firearms, he’s on this forum and is one of the uzi go to guys.

Roger that. I saw a post on another forum saying that the HK semi gloss black was a real close match to the IMI UZI black. I might give that a go, I am sure it will be closer than what I am dealing with now.

I thought the uzi was parkerized.

As far as IMI’s are concerned, I thought only the factory FA guns were parkerized and the semis were painted glossy black.

Ive been using Dura-Coat in Combat Black. I did a top cover and a grip frame for a model B and I cannot tell the difference. It is a perfect match. Very happy with the results.
