Random question for the group. What is your everyday carry gun?

I started out carrying a Walter PPK/s, downsized to a Sig P238, and then about two months ago started carrying a Glock 43X with the Shield Arms 15 round mags and Night Fision sights. Absolutely love the 43X with this setup. Even carrying OWB it is fully concealed, is very accurate for me, and gives a lot more firepower than I ever regularly carried before.

Being in Texas, I’m generally in jeans and a T-shirt, which makes it hard to conceal anything large (though I do always have a 1911 in the car as well).

Curious to hear the group’s current setups.

Not the average person's choice, but I'm not average. NAA 5-shot revolver with folding handle, 22WMR. It just lives in my pants pocket, completely concealed, and I never have to dress a certain style. Yes, I would like to have a larger gun with a couple dozen ;-) 9mm rounds in my pocket instead, but this is a compromise I make. And I'm feeling good with it!

My preferred carry are 2 Keltecs. A P3at, 380 in the winter and a P32, 32 acp in the summer. I have a belt clip on both. Muzzle hides in the watch pocket of my jeans. Neither one prints. Both are small and light. When I have to spend a long time in the car I wear a 9mm Ruger 1911 in a shoulder rig. When I'm at the range, my slinged semi Uzi. Life is good.

G26 with a G17 extra mag, and a NAA .22 mag revolver with the folding grip clipped into my pocket for a last ditch effort.

Either a G43 in an OWB holster or a Kahr CW380 in a pocket holster depending on how big a lump I want to conceal

Sig P365. 11 rounds of 9mm in the pocket with a normal grip (with my hands anyways) is really the pinnacle of EDC, as far as I'm concerned.

Thanks. Bought it from a Dallas county felony court judge that said he bought it new in ‘88 and carried it under his robe until he retired a few years ago. He was selling his collection as his heirs weren’t gun peeps and wanted them sold properly. He was selling a small magwell M11 smg as well which was pretty neat. I also purchased a shoulder stock for a Hi Power from him.

I added the ivory grips and installed the medallions.

Before that I carried a Kimber Micro9 but after 7 years of searching I found my personal grail gun. Sold the Micro.

Ditto.

One key consideration...if it gets stolen....they are making more. It's a tool, no different than a pocket knife.

Pf9 with a kydex own holster, trying out the clip method next week. Super nervous about having a gun pointed up my nuts with one in the chamber.

The other side of that coin, is not everyone accepts or will allow the weapon they carry on their person to get stolen, that means they’re likely dead. Also, handguns like Glocks and similar have triggers with the feel of a staple gun.

Guns are tools, me I prefer quality tools, not ones cheap and easily replaceable (and forgotten about) if stolen as a criteria.

Then again, not everyone carries a $520 pocket knife.

Kahr P9 with the factory nightsights in either an IWB or OWB holster about 4 o clock. Double mag carrier on the off side. Sometimes backup carry is an S&W 642 usually carried in a pocket. Colder weather when I have a coat on the Kahr gets relegated to backup in the inside coat pocket and the S&W M&P 2.0 compact goes on the belt.

Scott, most pistols used in crime come from cars and nightstands. Not here to judge, but I feel like we have a duty to try and keep them out of criminal hands.
