While I do not have the facilities to fairly request status as a Beta tester, I will note that in my Vector 28 rnd mag, the upgrade follower and spring set from Blackdog does NOT work any better than the parts that came from Vector. I would be interested in hearing if anyone else has had the same unsuccessful experience with the upgrade parts I have had.

I am hoping the new molded mags are successful, and if so I will purchase a couple.

I had good results with the red followers myself but I have a Idea for a better one for the UZI. If I do it those of you that know our reputation will know that customer service if #1 and we would replace anything thats not right.
The key is good feed back from all you UZI shooters!

I got the Uzi mag samples together and they will be going in the mail monday dec. 22. added a tail to the red followers to keep it from rocking and causing a fail to feed with the last round.

I have asked before but can't find your reply. Will these work in semi auto carbines also? I need more .22 mags for the uzis.

Thanks

No, they won't. The .22 bolts have feet on the front of the bolt like a 9mm open bolt does, and therefore it won't work in a smei-auto.

Like RD said, but there is a way to modify the IMI semi 22 conversions to use the FA mags. More info on that later

By the way the FA bolt faces are supposedly sent, but haven't shown up yet.

I will try to get a sample to all that emailed me, I think I got enough samples to cover it. I just got done doing some more testing, 100% feed and function with Blazer Bulk pack This looks like a winner to me!

Samples in the mail, we sent out 20 so that should be a good test group, Troy I got 2 coming your way. If the mail system isnt too far behind you should start to see them Wed. Fri and Sat. I send Lage samples of our new M11/.22 and also 2 Uzi .22 mags for the full auto shoot in Arizona on the 27th.
Merry Christmas guys!
Kevin.

Troy at Barrel Exchange and Black Dog thanks again for taking on this project guys , you will truly fill a niche in the Uzi world with you 22 cal kits and mags and I am sure they will be great sellers! Are they any nearer to go time yet? Is the R&D done with the kits? Do you have a ship date for 22 kits even without mags for those of us who do have working 22 cal. mags?

Troy - Any update? Did the bolt faces come in?
Let us know....and thanks again!

Unfortunately they have not shown up, neither have the sear pads. Which is making me nuts. :frag To boot the machinest is not returning calls, which is the last straw as far as I'm concerned.

I have contracted with a new shop local to me and he said he should have the parts by the end of next week (sure hope so).

I sincerely appologise for this taking as long as it has. I did not plan this to happen, and wanted to give the cnc shop the benifit of the doubt, but this guy has done this to me before and this is it.

It will be a week or 2 from getting the last parts to be shipping, I will ship the conversions as quick as possible

Happy New Year guys and thanks again for your patients

Thanks for your work.
Like I posted some time ago, this stuff never comes off on time.
There are always contractor, sub, machining, heat treating problem.
I sent my $$ early and will wait for a system that actually works.:)

I guess the good news is that this gives you time to finish up the .45 drums! :clap
