Greetings. I'm from a country in SE Asia where full auto firearms are legal for civilians. A friend offered his Uzi to me and allowed me to inspect & take photos of the gun. According to him, the gun arrived directly from Israel thru military channels. What puzzled me is the absence of any markings on the receiver aside from the ARS selector markings and 052xxx serial number. I field stripped & function checked the gun. It's in excellent condition except for cosmetic blemishes.

I could not find more info on the net so I compared it with model A photos in Uzitalk.com database as it seems the model A is simlar to the full auto version.

Did IMI produce Uzis without Hebrew or English receiver markings?

Hello and welcome to UZI Talk. The answer to your question is yes. IMI stamped the receivers in many different ways, depending what was requested by the particular country/agency that bought the guns. That gun does look like it was made by IMI, but I can't tell definitively by the photos.

What price range does a gun like that sell for in your country?

Try offering 1500 or 1600 first. You never know and you might save a few bucks that you can spend on ammo. Good luck.

I caught the part where he introduces himself as an individual from a Country in SouthEast Asia. The gentlemen say's that in his Country civilians can legally own full auto weapons.

I have no idea about the laws of this guys Country. So its difficult to come up with a fare price based on little information. I was thinking that if it was legal for civilians to own recently manufactured full auto weapons in The United States the price would be similiar to that of a "Post Dealer Sample" firearm.

I would think that $2,000 US Dollars for a used IMI Model A UZI is
somewhat high. In the United States a "Post Dealer" sample would run you about half that.

I agree with one of the previous post's that it might be a smart idea to offer
less in order to save some money and purchase ammunition.
