First this is not a WTS add.

I have Mini 14 GB factory folder I am contemplating putting on consignment at a local gun shop.

Fairly standard in what I would call good condition. Blue on the bolt is worn and the stock has a few dings from use. Folder locks up solid and the bore is bright. Only other negative is the forward sling loop is a little boogered.

Have 3 20rd and 2 30 rd, ruger factory mags.

What's fair for me and would be a quick sale?

I bought a standard Mini-14 folder in slightly better condition a few months back for $750, which I thought wasn't bad considering the stock is pretty easily a $400-$500 item on its own. It may depend on where you live, but given the panic situation $850-$900 may not be unreasonable for a quick sale. My choice at the moment would be to move it on Gunbroker.

I agree that Gunbroker would give you the highest likely price. I'd list it as a "featured auction" with a low starting price, with at least a 7 day auction period to allow plenty of people to see and bid on it. This strategy works well for popular models. To give a recent example, I sold my IMI Uzi Model B a few months ago after I bought a select-fire Vector. After listing it here for a week or so with no interest, I listed it on GB for a week starting at 1 penny. Itsold for $1550, and this was several months before the buying frenzy. I'd expect it to easily go for at least $950, and maybe as high as $1,100-1,200.

I've seen a few for sale here recently. Two months ago they were sitting on tables at the gun show here for $750'ish (both fixed and folder). Today I saw one marked $1800 - no idea if he was getting any interest at that price though.

Thanks. Offered it to a few people I know who are gun poor these days at pre crazy prices, but they all wanted AR's.

I may have to think about gunbroker, like the convienence of dealing local but for the right money, it might be worth the hassle.
