Yikes! It seems like both the transferable and semi auto FNCs increase $1,000 in value every year. At this rate of saving, I'll need to save up $25,000 to afford my transferable!

Usually I figure the real market price is where the bidding is when the third bidder drops out. This time, three bidders got into a little war as the aution drew to a close. Tossing those three grapes out, the real market price was $3500...or less.

Maybe, maybe not - this is not very isolated of a case. It seems a little high for an average shooter but there is no doubt the FNC is creeping higher. I paid $1,500 for my first one in the late 90's, which was about the same gun as this one that sold. They are steadily creeping to near $4k about anywhere. No more being made, pretty much ever by anyone for US civilian consumption. Even if someone were able to have parts brought in, it would have an American barrel and receiver.

That second to last bidder for $4,440.00 was Vito from Only The Best Firearms. No wonder his machine guns are so expensive!

I'd sell what I've got and hold out. Parts kits will come eventually.

I believe Paco said all of the Belgian military ones would be destroyed when they retire them. That leaves the Swedes and considering how long they keep stuff in use, I don't see parts kits coming anytime soon. The Swedes may also decide to trash them when they finish with them as well.

Wow! Almost $4500. I have a fixed stock FNC that I am pretty sure is unfired sitting my safe. I would gladly sell it for $4500. Maybe it's time to re-home it?

I'm posting mine tonight!

If you're going to list on GB you'd be better to wait until this auction is over, the deal is done and the bidder who lost out will be looking for the next one. These things seem to pop up a couple of times per month and will sell for ~$4K if the reserve isn't too high.

Ug I realy want a parts rifle.
I got mine in the 90s for 1300 wanting to get a sear one day.
Managed to get my sear 15 years later.
Now the rifles are going for almost as much as I paid for the sear.
