Absolutely! But a few minutes in the mill with a carbide cutter and the bolt is good to go. I'm probably in the minority, but I prefer the ring. I'm convinced that it adds some stability to the bbl although I'm aware some argue that it adds nothing.In the video, although Ian mentioned the restrictor ring, he forgot to mention that some registered bolts are clearanced for the restrictor ring and some are not. It makes a difference if you think that you can just drop your registered bolt in any receiver only to find out you have to remove the restrictor ring.
