FS/FA Uzi 10mm Conversion

PM'd Barrelxchange yesterday about the conversion, no reply yet. From what I can tell I need a barrel, 45 acp bolt w/ 9mm extractor, greese gun lower and M3 mags....right?
Has anyone done this conversion?
Anything else needed, other than ammo?
Do the M3 mags work without any modification with 10mm?
How about heavy recoil springs?

I would guess 40 S&W and 45 ACP would only need the barrels?

Oh I bought a new G20 and dusted off my Dillon, what a fun cartridge. I guess the 10mm bug bit me.

Has anyone done this conversion?
I run 40 S&W,,,,, 45 bolt, 9mm extractor, 45 lower, 40 barrel.... swap barrel to 45, install mag of 45acp, and shoot 45acp.

Anything else needed, other than ammo?

Do the M3 mags work without any modification with 10mm?
You need to close the lips slightly to retain the smaller case of the 40/10mm, but the mag can still be used for 45acp, that is how I do it.

How about heavy recoil springs?
Run what you brung.. recoil on 10mm is lighter than 45acp.

I noticed on the Vector web site they show 45 acp bolt and barrel any one know if they are in stock or should I start looking?

For F/A They have been out of the bolts for a long time... They do have barrels. Give them a call every once in a while they "find" stuff.
