I have a Vector Uzi, and to date the little booger has fed everything flawlessly. Lately, however, it has been real finicky about the ammo. The hollowpoint jams against the right side of the ramp, coming out of the right side of the mag...anybody else experience this problem. Also, it will not feed (reliably) trapezoidal tip ammo. !!!HELP!!!

no expereince with an Uzi, but had an M9 that would do something similar. I took a piece of fine crocus cloth and a drop of CLP and polished the ramp down. It may be a fine burr or ridge that can be polished a little.
What manufacture of HP was that particular cartridge? My guess it has a larger than average cavity. Remington HP is more rounded and mimics a ball round, might work better, but of course, a rounded HP is underclassed when compared to how "flatter" HP's perform downrange in regards to terminal ballistics. Some guns just don't like certain types of ammo. Case in point, the M1911 .45.

You might try CorBon PowRBall...

hollowpoints with the full profile nose (ball in the cavity).

Of course, GLASER Safety Slugs would be kinda KOOL too!

CorBon should rock in an Uzi methinks. They typically shoot with a little more punch so would work the action more reliably.
Have heard of the full profile HP's but have never seen or shot them. I guess Federal has a new one out too.
