Full sized vs. Mini-Uzi

I don't have the cash so this will not be full auto, but it will end up a SBR.

Which would you recommend?
What are the pros and cons of each platform?

I like the history behind the full sized, but I wonder if the Mini is better for the casual shooter and if needed for personal protection....

I am mentally stuck. Adds are if there are no bans.......I will probably end up with both, but which one should come first. And/or if there was a ban, they stopped making them...., which one would I miss the most from the collection?

Thanks

I got all of them, but love the Mini. Just got a Burris for it and may get foregrip,a small one. Super accurate and hardly any recoil. And ofcourse very hard to find IMI one and expensive.Good luck

I assume whatever I get it will be a Vector. I am a shooter not a true collector. My gun will get scratched. I will get over it. (If I bought a collectors item, I would be scared that I would ruin the value and not enjoy the gun as much.)

Shadeone...posting that pic was just plain MEAN !! :) Awesome gun for sure. It's one I don't have and they sure are hard to find. RWBlue01: you should get the full size cause if you get a mini you'll be taking another one out of circulation and making it harder for me. Good luck

I am selling a mini uzi vector on the non-nfa section right now

RWBlue, I normally dont hype other peoples ads, but if you want a shooter mini, buy this now. this is the best deal ive seen on a vector mini carbine in a while. others are around this price but dont include the awesome bonuses like this.

as far as pros and cons, certain parts are harder to find for the mini but you have a very great resource at your fingertips here. if you have patience, just about everything for the mini CAN be found (except receivers but dont get me started on that) here through a simple want ad or just monitoring the sales forums like a hawk.
obviously the full size is bigger and heavier. I personally like the stock of the mini better than a full size, its just more comfortable and the cheek-weld feels better to me.

if i dont have you convinced yet.... well... the mini is endorsed by both chuck norris:

Chicks dig mini-Uzis. My wife with her Vector (IMI receiver) SBR'd mini (and her Rover Discovery).

We have both full size and mini. I like them both; but to me at least there is some additional magic with the mini-Uzi, and I have to agree with shadeone, not to hype someone else's ad, but if I was in the market for another mini I would jump on that one myself.

If the uzi PRO sells well IWI will probably sell minis in the near future. This is just my opinion but i'd hold out for a IWI mini uzi.

Gents,

I have an Uzi SMG and a semi-auto SBR'd Vector Mini. Love both, but really prefer the handling characteristics of the Mini. Wish it were a FA...

Methinks I'm pretty lucky to have both...

If only buying one:

I have both and prefer the mini, so does the wife if that matters.

Just to clarify my ad on the Non- nfa section,it will ship from an FFL and when I specified Nib. I meant NIB directly from Vector arms. Sorry for any confusion.

I am selling a mini uzi vector on the non-nfa section right now

What rail?
How do you turn the TLR2 on and off? I am thinking it is in the wrong place for me to treat it like I do on the pistol.
FAB Mini rail.
I use my trigger finger.

Suggest visiting a range with FS and Mini Uzi SMG rentals, see which you like, not what others like.
Then save for a SMG, not an SBR, if you're going to put up with the NFA hassle for an Uzi.
