I bought a Galil ARM parts kit that i'm going to have built the kit came with an Israeli barrel and a u.s made polymer handguard along with the original wooden one. As i would rather use the wooden handguard and the barrel what are 4 u.s parts i can use? Since the receiver counts as one. Also my kit did not include the rear handguard retainer to mount a carry handle or the actual handle itself does anyone know where i can fine one? The only ones i could find were for airsoft guns.

I don't get what the big deal about the carry handle is. It really doesn't offer anything, and if you find one you will end up paying out the A$$ for one.

For 922r (if you believe in that kind of garbage) you can use a tapco FCG and US grip, but I can't think of anything else at the moment.

i want the carry handle because that's what they are normally seen with and i don't feel like going to prison for not having 5 u.s parts i didn't say i agreed with the law (i actually hate it) but i'm not risking getting a felony over it

You need 5 US parts total. You can go US receiver, barrel, trigger, forearm, pistol grip. you can also change the gas piston if you wanted to keep the Galil trigger. I also like the carrying handle & have a solution for you.

922R Clarification

I'm seeing some confusion about how to comply with 922R. 922R restricts the number of foreign parts to 10. Adding American made parts has no effect on your compliance unless they replace a foreign part.
