heres my questions

how out of spec are the century galils can they be worked by a professional to make something that is close to the original how much would that cost. are the reiceivers really that bad or can they be made right, are the parts that come in them pretty much in good mechaninical conditions

if i wanted to build a galil what parts kits should i use to have the best results and again could a century receiver be made right for this build i want something that is high quality without haveing to spend the same amount i would on a used car. also id like to have a chrome lined barrel

thanks guys

You might get lucky and have a good working Golani.

You can always buy a used one that someone has put a few hundred rounds thru and worked some of the bugs out.

Or just buy a new one and send it to someone like Tenngalil for a few hundred dollars more.

You can buy a better quality kit; then take your time buying the rest of the parts (good quality); then send it to a good builder.

Or, you could just buy a real Galil, in good shape.
There is more popping up and the prices are coming down, except for those who are trying to get crazy prices.
