I have a Galil build on a IMI receiver and I've noticed the top cover wiggles. I've tried two surplus top covers and both rattle somewhat. The second one is better but still has the issue. Can anything be done to fix it?

Don't know the solution, but I noticed that my IMI is looser than my Golani as well.

Time for decent R4 parts. We perfected the Galil. Denel Vektor that is.

Yes, gently tap the inside rear of the top cover, under the recoil rod button, with a light hammer, to push it out, a very little bit at a time.
Do it evenly across the surface.
Put a piece of wood under it, to hold it still while you tap it out.

Do this; as it has worked for me. Not difficult at all; just use some caution.
