That is a really good rate of fire. I thought I remember Tom saying that the A1 W bolt was 750-800 RPM in the M11/NINE. Maybe I have the ROF wrong. I think that Tom would be very happy that Sam and Tina brought the W bolt back. Great job!

Anyone notice the price of Tungsten lately? The cost of H3 buffers almost doubled. China is probably PO and they are the biggest supplier of W in the world. Be glad you guys got one of these now cause it's gonna get nutty down the road.

I bought some new tungsten welding rods recently. Wow, they were expensive and made in China.

I don't shoot my tungsten bolt since I got the Versa upper but I'm glad that I have it.

What is the 2026 going rate for one of Tom’s A-bolts?

That depends on how quickly you wish to sell. This thread is about PS doing another run of tungsten alloy bolts that can fit either the M11/NINE or M11 registered receivers. Which generation is your M11 CF-(W) bolt do you have? As I recall Tom’s first gen bolts would only run in the M11s small frame .380 guns. The pocket in the face of the bolt is too tight for 9mm. In the second generation bolts, the bolt face clearance was widened for 9mm. So the second gen bolts could be run in both in both small frame M11 and M11/NINEs. So to me I would think that Tom’s second gen bolts and the PS bolts, I would think would have a higher market value because they can be run in both guns.

The large frame guns use Z-mags/PAM 2 mags. With the slower ROF of the tungsten bolts, the 9mm mags don’t support the shorter .380 case long enough for a smooth transition from the feed lips of the mag into the chamber. The small frame .380 mags support the round long enough with the slower bolt speed for reliable function.

It is also my understanding that the current batch of PS tungsten bolts is sold out. A buyer would need to get on the waiting list with Tina for whenever the next run of bolts, which could be years. Or the buyer would need to pay the posted price or whatever a seller would be willing to take. These bolts don’t come up for sale often enough for there to be a market price established, at least that I am aware of.
