To get feedback has anyone here purchased or used Genuine-Militaria.com advertising on Gunbroker yet? They state that they are Warsaw Poland. Pricing is kinda steep on stuff, but they seem to have parts for Galil's.

Thanks! Lou

I think you should buy a few things from them and give us feedback.

I got a Galil ARM gas block from him. Fantastic condition, absolutely new, and pretty fast shipping, considering it was from Warsaw, Poland. Expensive, but, he came through well, and has very good feedback.

What d'ya mean "on this one"?!
I've gotta take some Gunbroker pictures tomorrow anyway, so sure, I'll get some of the Genuine-Militaria.com gas block.
I don't recall what the shipping was, but it was a pre-set amount from the seller, and not too bad really, I think like $20.
What WAS expensive (other than the gas block), was the Western Union payment option, I think it was like $35, don't do that, it cost more to send the money than it did to send the gas block.
He's got really good stuff, though, I wouldn't hesitate, though I did at first.

Areshrike, I just simply meant that you went and purchased a part from Genuine-Militaria.com first before I could since my fellow members where ribbing me. "on this one" = in this situation. I appreciate all the information you bring to the table here at Galil Talk.

Icastillo,
You know that - "What d'ya mean "on this one"?! - was supposed to be a HaHa funny joke, right brother.
That's the problem with the written word. We all to often can't really "read" the intent of the writer. I thought for sure it'd be laughed at, but I sure can see how it could be misunderstood.
Sorry brother.

WCC,
Very interesting, now I would hesitate, although my transaction was great, that other guys obviously wasn't.

Let's see, he accepts -
PAYPAL PLEASE ADD 5% FOR THIER FEES
WESTERN UNION / MONEY GRAM
CASHIER'S CHECK / CERTIFIED CHECK / BANK MONEY ORDER

I hate paypal, but it's really the only one you'd have "recourse" on, if you never got your stuff.

Maybe I just got lucky. After that other guys experience, I would hesitate.
What are you looking for Lou?

I got you AresShrike, it's all good. Anyways, yes I am looking for a IMI Galil bolt carrier for a SAR Galil in .308 build. Among other things I am looking for is bullet guide, top cover (complete), pistol grip nut, trigger spring and a bayonet lug (barrel mounted) to have a complete kit. Thank you

Aren't those the same gas blocks that Blackthorne is still selling? Thats the last AR/ARM gas block.

Marcin Piorko is the guy's name, and I have bought from him many times. Both online, and in person at various militaria shows in Europe.

The Galil parts he are selling are actually off of deactivated guns that were sold in Europe for as cheap as 300 Euro.

No, it's not the same gas block as Blackthorne is selling.
Blackthorne's ARM gas blocks are out of spec blocks cast by somebody who did a bad job.

This one is from, Genuine-Militaria.com, Marcin Piorko, as you suggested, off deactivated guns from Europe.
It's also good to hear that you had good dealings with him.

Actually; back when Black Throne did have IZZY stock, they did have these later designed ARM gas blocks (with the built-in forward lug) in-stock before starting to make their out of spec ones.

The Genuine-Militaria.com ARM rear handguard retainer just came in from Warsaw, Poland.
Just under 2 weeks. Not to bad, I'd say.
Condition, as pictured, very good.

I bought an ARM gas block from Genuine-Militaria.com on GB and had it in about two weeks also. He's good to go in my book.
