Global Machine & Tool LLC, Rome Texas manufactures those UZI receivers.

They are currently distributed by D&D and a few others.

You might also check Gun Broker. The manufacture has sold several receiver repair sections using his Gun Broker account and receivers might be available in the near future.

Global vs GI receivers.

They just got the jointly manufactured Global / D and D Sales manufactured UZI receivers last week. The GI are sold out- temporarily out of stock. These are the first serial numbered D and D sales manufactured UZI receivers. The web site is also not functioning correctly.

Go the the parts pages, page 3 for the sales package, then go back to the home page and a different home page shows up.

Hope this helps.

:uzi Global Machine & Tool LLC is manufacturing an UZI receiver for D&D with there name and serial numbers.
There are receivers manufactured by Global Machine & Tool LLC with there name solely on the receiver as well as receivers manufactured exclusively for Century International.

They are all manufactured at the Rome, Texas facility.:peace

I just finished welding up my first Global reciever last night. I need to grind and polish it, parkerize and paint it. It will be listed on Gunbroker sometime next week. If all goes well I will start producing fully finished receivers for sale. When I get it listed I will post it here.

They are great receivers. everything is nice and straight which is a nice change from the Group Industries receivers.

We are going to list the first few finished receivers on Gunbroker for starting bid $350, buy it now for $495. With the buy it now price you will get a top cover to match. It will either be parkerized, or parkerized and Duracoted, whichever the winning bidder preffers. Once we have figured out what the market will bear we will list them here on UziTalk.

We will also have FA grip housings converted to SA and refinished.

Are the receivers being sold by D&D considered to be 80% receivers? Do they have to be shipped to an FFL?

RE: 80% uzi receivers:

The Global/D and D sales and all of the uzi receivers shells, Global, Group Industries, McKay and any others are all defined by the ATF as "firearms" and serial numbered before sale. In addtion, without the blocking bar installed during assembly either by the manufacturer prior to sale, or by the purchaser during assembly, the ATF classifies them as machine guns. There are no exceptions to the folded stamped UZI receiver shells.

Make sure that the blocking bar is installed when you assemble the firearm.
