The Glock FRTS seem to be a skill not a machine. Some people can make them rock and most others can't get them to run.

Here's a funny video that shows it.

In his video, that youtube removed, his buddy couldn't get more than 2 rounds using it. I think it's the difference between people who use light trigger pressure and those who pull the trigger hard. Also until there's a select mode version I would not consider one.

That trigger looks really nice and seems to be “drop in” with some tuning.

I agree with you that the other shooter was probably pulling the trigger too hard and it couldn’t reset. Kinda like the original Rare Breed 2 position for AR15s.

Honestly this is wild time to be into guns. So many people are making FRTs and new ones are coming out all the time. Parabellum Combat Systems just announced an HK one that fits into HK91, HK93, and HK94 type guns with the full auto sear trip on the bolt. It also using the original SEF lower.

After my dealings with A.R.T. over their 10/22 non-frt I wouldn’t send them money for any product. Buyer beware!

Wow!! I checked HK Pro to see if he posted it there but I’m not seeing it in the FRT forum. Where did you see this info?

ETA: The M&P pistol is where it’s at (assuming you can find one for sale)

I wasn’t clear enough on my post. Thanks for the link.

I meant “assuming you can find an FRT for one”

I have a metal lower M&P 9mm with an early FFT FRT. He stopped making FRTs for the M&P pistols. He prototyped a 3 pos FRT for them and sent it to the ATF for a determination letter.

While I understand why he did it, it’s not a good move IMO.

I saw other people cloning his FRT on Facebook but they seemed to have stopped. My guess is they got hit with a C&D but I’m only guessing

If he actually gets an “all good” letter from the ATF on his 3 pos, he’s going to make $millions

Ahh ok.
I don't really want a pistol frt after shooting a full auto pistol.
But I do understand the want for them and the market.

Boat loads will sell letter or not.
Dude is gonna be getting in line behind A&S with that submission.

With the settlement that Rare Breed got, I can’t imagine anyone getting a positive determination for a pistol FRT much less a Glock pistol FRT. Since ATF requires the determination item installed in a complete firearm, I wonder if an American manufacturer makes a carbine kit for a Dagger? Of course, I have first hand knowledge of ATF lying about my submissions, so that would basically be a waste of time. I still have my fingers crossed as to my “expedited” determination.
