I reload my subs.
I use a 158 RN ( 375 mag) bullet mold Size & lube to 356 and load with 3.2 grn. Bullseye..
Works great in my FA MaX 10/31 and my semi guns like my Colt 9mm carbine & H&K SP5 along with other semi guns.

I'm old and lazy. I prefer .380 lol. If I still reloaded 9mm, I'd go with a lighter charge on 115gr rds. That saves $ and trips to the powder supplier.

ahh so you can go "regular charge + heavier bullet" or "lighter charge + regular weight bullet"?
You can but what are you doing with the ammo? If you are punching holes in paper, no problem. But if you are trying to knock down steel, then there would be a problem. As I recall Energy = mass x acceleration. The HK MP5 SD bleeds of gas through a vented barrel to make standard pressure 9mm ammo subsonic. But the gas being bled off reduces acceleration, which reduces terminal energy.

A friend of mine told me of a subgun competitor, using a SD, dumping an entire 30 round mag into a “heavy” set popper. The popper didn’t go down, so he gave up. If you are breaking clays or punching holes in paper in ten or 15 yards no problem with downloaded 9mm. If you are trying to hit at distance or knock down steel, you will be disappointed with performance.
