Drove 300 miles this evening only to find out the Dallas area SMG match is cancelled tomorrow morning due to rain/flooding.
Any recommendations on good indoor ranges that allow C3 in Dallas area?
Thanks

I shoot at DFW on Mockingbird. They do check forms but other than that they will let you shoot anything

Its near the airport. Theyll let you fire without tether, they dont need to see your form 4... vet owner.

Heck if you can show him that you can draw and fire safely from holster... he will let yoy

tether ? maybe he is talking about the strap that hangs off the barrel to grab with your other hand so you keep all you fingers (big problems with macs ) if you don't use suppressor

Good folks.

I always have my Form 4s with me, but they don't ask to see them.

Let them know what you have on check-in, so they're not surprised by someone running out from the lanes and breathlessly telling them, "That man next to me has a MACHINEGUN!"

They might have a staff member observe you for a couple of minutes just to make sure you're not a nitwit shooting up the ceiling or the bench.

No video, though.

But they don't have tethers :silly

Ended up at DFW range on Mockingbird. Presented my Form 4 and they asked my level of competence in shooting FA because I was on a far left lane near the wall. Had a good time and my friend got to shoot FA for the first time. The two women next to me shooting red laser revolvers were quite surprised when 10-15 round bursts started. Got a little concerned when their red laser was showing up on my target. They certainly needed a little more practice with their newly acquired revolvers.
