Ok, the ups tracking said my pps43c was delivered to my FFL this morning so I went and brought it home.
I did a thorough cleaning and function check and was about to put her away when I remembered a buddy left a few rounds of 7.62x25 here
a few years back when I duracoated his CZ 52. I had no idea if this crap was any good since it has resided in a box in my garage since it was
unloaded way back when. Well I found the stuff and it was all tarnished and nasty so being a glutton for punishment I loaded up a mag and tried
this stuff out to see if it would fire in that condition. Sure as hell it all fired and not a single hiccup in the 8 rnds I had and man what a round that 7.62x25
is!!!

This was the first time I had ever fired anything in 7.62x25 and holy hell was I surprised at the power it has!

I love this round! and the pps43 seems to work
just as it should and looks brand new to boot. All my shots stayed in a 10 inch group at 30yrds from standing and firing this thing with no rest. I am anxious to get
some more ammo and really do some accuracy testing and try the other mags for function. This is the best sub $400 firearm I have bought in years. I would definitely
recommend one of these if you are on the fence about getting one.
now for the pics:

i have one on layaway at a local dealer.

IF it runs 100% and shows no issues I'll SBR it once I sell my house.

Please keep us informed on how, once you get authorization, you work out the stock to original condition. I really like the one I got last month.

changing the stock to a folder is super simple. I already have it all worked out.
What you have to do is punch out the pin that is peened into the stock latch
as seen in the last pic. You then need to drill out the hole in the top of the receiver that the peened pin is ran though, to fit the correct pin and add the
spring to keep tension on the latch.

It takes about 1 hour.

Depends though

ANother shop had one and you could see visible welds on the locking tabs.

With parts in hand I could do it in about 10 mins give or take.
I am working with the non welded version though I am sure the welded tab version would take longer. The welded version, does it have the correct parts installed and just welded in place or are they missing the correct pin and spring like the non welded version?
I would like to see a good detailed pic of the mechanism of the welded version.

From what I see, it's a different pin. Two months ago I was on another site where someone showed pictures of what we're talking about( and I can't remember what site it was). Now we have to find where we can get a replacement pin and spring if we're to SBR it.

It may be as I have not seen the "correct" pin for it.
I would love to see detailed pics of the parts from a parts kit.
I am thinking it shouldn't be hard at all to make a pin that
would work with these if I had a pic of the pin and a few
dimensions.

Got to play with one yesterday. OK for what it is... a grossly oversized pistol. Would be really cool if SBRed. Had occasional light primer strikes using 1950s Polish ammo.
